Negeri Sembilan newly appointed executive councillors need not publicly declare their assets, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said today.
He said the state government would not follow the move by the federal government to have ministers and deputy ministers to publicly declare their assets."It is sufficient that the records of the assets are kept by the Anti-Corruption Agency,” he said after a state executive council meeting here.He added that the records, including that of his own assets, were also available at the State Secretary’s office.Mohamad said he only required the new state executive councillors to fill up the asset forms each year for record purposes.
